Thanks for visiting my Blog! My name is Jesse and I am a college student who has grown up watching and playing baseball. Seven years ago, I started umpiring and haven’t looked back sense, I think I enjoy being an umpire more than I enjoyed playing the sport!

I created this blog as a space to discuss baseball and softball from an umpire’s perspective. Whether it be the latest news from the MLB, College baseball and Softball, or simply issues that pop up in the Little League and High School games that I umpire. I also will be discussing conversations I have with my umpire crew regarding rule interpretations and umpire conduct. For all you fashion experts out there I also plan on blogging about umpire uniforms and equipment! Umpiring baseball and softball is both a hobby and a passion of mine, I hope this blog allows me to share my love of the sport to all of you readers.

My main career goal as of now is to be a Prosecutor, similar to an umpire they are tasked with enforcing the rules and make sure people who violate them are held accountable.
